Counting puzzles

In the traditional Counting puzzle the reader is given the challenging task of counting how many different rectangles (in the puzzle to the right, for example) are present in the picture or diagram.

Many varieties are possible, as in the example below where the number of different triangles must be counted.

Due to the challenge of the task the reader is often given points just for getting close to the correct answer - it's easy to miss some of the shapes!
