Jigsaw Samurai Sudoku takes a Samurai Sudoku puzzle and adds a jigsaw twist. Or put another way, it takes Jigsaw Sudoku and makes it even larger and trickier! Instead of increasing the number of possible digits in a puzzle, in a Jigsaw Samurai Sudoku an arrangement of multiple Sudoku grids is overlaid - and then filled with jigsaw regions that often wander from one grid across to another. The entire puzzles must be solved all at once in order to complete the puzzle successfully.
The aim is fundamentally simple: place the digits 1 to 9 into every row and column of each of the underlying regular 9x9 Sudoku grids, as well as each of the bold-lined jigsaw pieces.
An infinite variety of grid arrangements is possible, and the underlying grids need not be 9x9 - take a look at the bar on the right-hand side for example.
There is only ever one solution, and guessing is never required.
